Studio mess
OK - here is my mess! I am still trying to get everything up here and organized. It isn't going very fast because I am also working on the rest of the house.

I am using these scrapbook rolling carts (stacked on top of each other) to store all my supplies. I love it because you can pull out each drawer and go to a work table with it and then it all stores nicely back in the rack. Since the room does not have a closet, I have to be able to store all my supplies out in the open and still look good.

Ralph Lauren Home
I am looking through the latest Veranda magazine and came across the Ralph Lauren Home ad. I went to the web site and LOVE IT. I have been kinda on a Ralph Lauren kick in the past few months. I crave sites like this because they give me wonderful ideas. I can usually re-create a look with stuff I already have or with a couple new items. His looks remind me of the early 1900's high society - Titanic - inherited furniture - silver - dark wood. And his turquoise collection drives me crazy! I love it!!!

FINALLY!
We are all in the new house! I still have a garage full of boxes that I am unpacking and finding a place for. Most of it is art studio stuff. I am trying to go through it all and re-organize at the same time. I am itching to create - but I am one of those that can't until everything is all put away.
The dogs - Edgar Allan Poe and Captain Jack Sparrow are adjusting well. At first, they would not walk on the hard wood floors or tile. And since they are miniature schnauzers, they had trouble getting up and down the stairs off the deck. But they seem to be adjusting to the new house and marking their territory in the neighborhood.
I hope to be back on schedule with posting to the blog! Stay tuned!
