St. Jude

St. Jude is a charity that is near and dear to my heart. I do the monthly contribution and the other day, when I was going on line to request a tax receipt for my taxes, I stopped by the online store. Can you imagine my surprise when I found both Kate Spade and Juicy Couture stuff on there! How cool that I could buy stuff that I love and also help out St. Jude. And it is always good to know that two brands I buy also support St. Jude!

So, here is my new Kate Spade.

And it is limited to only 400 and I got number 94!

And a new Juicy Couture charm...

that has the St. Jude emblem on the other side.

And now my Juicy charm bracelet looks like this...

The purse charm (which has lip gloss inside) and the carriage are new ones from my husband.

Princess Mia

In Barnes and Noble this week, I was browsing through the new paperbacks and this caught my eye...

Princess Mia!

Growing up, I wasn't used to seeing or hearing my name. The story goes that my parents wanted something that went with Michelle and they made up Mia. They pronounced it My - a, whether or not that is how it is spelled. So now, whenever I see or hear my name, I am really surprised since it happen so rarely.

I bought the book, and then realized it isn't this first one - it is part of a series and was made into a movie. Since I don't have kids, I guess the whole "Mia" part of the Princess Diaries passed me by.

So, I guess I need to go back and read the whole series, especially since it is about my life as a princess!

Just call me Princess Mia!
